FEMMES FATALES - SONGS FOR THE FALLEN WILD & WICKED 'Compelling' , 'empowering', 'highly original' and a standing ovation was the audience reaction to the second performance of this new show. It celebrates the Femme Fatale in all her feisty glory as heroine, heartbreaker, rule-breaker and role model and was devised with the great American lyricist Fran Landesman who died in July 2011. Sarah had been working closely with Landesman and her writing partner Simon Wallace (“one of the finest songwriting partnerships” The Observer) for over a decade, recording three highly aclaimed CDs featuring their work. The show examines an archetype that has existed throughout history from Cleopatra, Judith and Mata Hari, to Film Noir, Marilyn Monroe
